Lynn, I just came in a few minutes ago. Are we still going to be able to drop obvious BOTS’ student numbers, because some Bots have been removed but MANY more are still in my course.

I save discussion question assignments until the last few weeks of the semester so that most of the bots have been eliminated

I live in Calaveras Country. Phones barely work in many places.

Not all students have phones. I had a student in a prison program and could not use a phone or make any audio or video recordings. But her essay responses were great.

If we drop students after census then we lost those spots for a student who want to take the class FTES etc.

We don’t have MyDelta rights to drop students after census.

use an assignment to validate attendance/participation but be mindful that according to the ed code attendance is not a graded event so attendance assignment must be substantive

another way to identify bots is to create assignment that requires them to create a resume in Jobspeaker

I have not dealt at all with bots….I am not sure of how to determine which students are bots, how to access student schedules etc…any help there??

In MyDelta, a course, to the right of the student name, there is a course history button.

I do NOT see a course history button - just “Notify” “Photo” and student id
